Discover ESPRIT Côtes-du-Rhône Rosé 2023, an elegant and fruity wine showcasing the ancestral know-how of Maison Brotte.

With this cuvée, we bring all our expertise into crafting a prestigious Côtes du Rhône that highlights the historical grape of the southern Rhône Valley: Grenache Noir. The grapes come from small wine producers who have partnered with Maison Brotte, cultivated on argilo-silty and sandy soils that benefit from optimal sunlight.

🍇 Grapes: Mainly Grenache Noir, Syrah.
🍷 Color: Bright pale grenadine with violet reflections.
👃 Nose: Open and complex, the nose reveals aromas of red and yellow fruits, citrus, and rose.
👄 Palate: The bold attack hints at a fresh and fruity wine with notes of strawberries and grapefruit. The balance between a lovely roundness and vibrant freshness is perfect, with citrus and cherry aromas contributing to a beautiful roundness.

🍽️ Food Pairings: Serve at 9 or 10 °C. Ideal as an aperitif or to enjoy with pistou soup, tabbouleh, anchoïade, aioli, summer salads, charcuterie, or sliced chicken with vegetables.

⌛ Aging Potential: 2 years, with pleasant development of aromas over time.

Situation, Terroir & Winemaking:

The Situation: The grapes come from small wine producers in the Rhône Valley, all partners of Maison Brotte for several decades. The winemaking process reflects the expertise and mastery of regional grape varieties.

The Terroir: We selected vines planted on beautiful argilo-silty and sandy terroirs that enjoy significant sunshine. The warm, dry climate promotes berry ripening and vineyard health.

Winemaking & Aging: The grape varieties are blended immediately upon reception after a strict sorting. Gentle pneumatic pressing occurs directly at low pressure. Some juice comes from bleeding, particularly on Grenache. After cold settling overnight, alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks (16°-18°). No malolactic fermentation is performed to preserve freshness, with aging for 6 months on fine lees and regular stirring. Bottling occurs in March or April following the harvest.
